The inorganic zinc-rich primer must be dried before applying the intermediate paint coating. The drying and curing should be done with the help of higher air humidity. It is recommended to be about 60%. The surface layer of the inorganic zinc-rich primer has a porous structure. It is a sealing paint or mist spray technology. Inorganic zinc-rich primers have strict regulations on the thickness of the paint film. Too high dry film thickness will cause the paint film to crack. Generally, it is considered below 125μm.
In comparison, the engineering construction regulations for epoxy zinc-rich paint are much simpler. High-build modified epoxy coatings are key anti-rust finishes. They have anti-rust color pastes such as zinc acid or aluminum oxide powder. The paint film is firm and durable, and has strong adhesion to space frame accessories like vacuum hydrocarbon epoxy resin modified epoxy resin adhesive architectural coatings. There are different products such as general type, alumina powder type and glass flake mortar reinforced type. The single-pass spray paint can exceed (100~300) μm dry film thickness.
