The space frame structure is a form of spatial grid structure. Most of the grid knots are made of steel tubes and spherical nodes. Generally, the truss structure is divided into four categories, which are: plane truss system, quadrangle cone, triangular cone and hexagonal cone.
In the surface system of the turbine house in the main plant of the thermal power plant, a four-cone network frame is usually used. The bottom edge of the four-cone network frame is parallel or perpendicular to the boundary, and the corner cone covers the whole network frame plane.
The upper (lower) chord nodes of the grid frame are the vertices of the Angle cone set in a straight (reverse) direction, or the corner points of the bottom edge of the angle cone set in a straight (reverse) direction, so that the plane projection of the upper and lower chord in the same direction just forms two groups of parallel lines, half of the spacing of the grid.
The upper and lower chord meshes formed are usually square, but rectangular meshes can also be formed when the chord lengths of the two directions are not equal.
