- The equilibrium bifurcation is unstable. The problem of balance instability is mainly that the complete axis and the middle plane are affected by external force, which leads to instability. Equilibrium bifurcation instability, also known as branch point instability, is the primary problem in the stability of steel structures. Equilibrium instability also includes compressed cylindrical shells. In the stability problem, there are stable bifurcation instability and unstable bifurcation instability.
