Precautions for Space Frame Construction:
- The geometry dimension of the steel pipe of the space frame should be strictly controlled, the permission error is ±1mm. When the rod can’t be installed, it’s not allowed to cut off it instead of finding out the reason.
- The installation needs to meet the requirements of high precision and be executed according to the allowable deviation of the steel construction acceptance specification. Avoid cumulative errors, which will affect the quality of the whole installation.
- Before welding, all the accessories of the space frame should be tested by connecting successfully. All accessories such as steel pipes, bolt-balls must be fully welded according to the design requirements. The quality of hollow balls shall be subject to random inspection. The axial elevation should be double-checked during installation.
- It’s better to paint the finishing coat of pipes and small assembled units to reduce the overhead work. After finishing the installation, the part damaged needs to be painted.
Paint type, performance, and the number of layers of the paint film, thickness, should be in line with the design requirements.
