At 9 am on March 1st, after 15 hours of interruption, a huge dome mesh shell was slowly raised to a height of 68 meters. It marks the successful completion of the dome improvement of the Jiangsu “Nanhu” project undertaken by the SAFS Steel Structure Space Frame Engineering Company.
According to reports, the planned land area of the entire project is about 280 acres, the total construction area is about 180,000 square meters, and the two blocks are divided into two blocks of hotels and shopping malls. Among them, the hotel form is a 18 -layer spherical hotel building with 88 meters high and 86 meters in diameter. After the project is completed, it will become a sphere building. Its arc cover is a single-layer spherical mesh structure with a maximum span of 55 meters. Limited to the layout of the elevator shaft and the ultra -high internal suspension space, it is impossible to be lifted in block, nor can it be improved after the ground assembly.
Through multiple technical research and organizing simulation deductions, the project team determined the plan of “in -site segmentation+local promotion”. The dome part that needs to be improved this time weighs 108 tons. The box -type component cutter of the dome is only 9 mm thick, and the overall span is large, and it is irregular. The limit of the design of this type of structure has been reached. It is currently a relatively large sphere mesh structure.
In order to ensure the smooth improvement of the dome, the SAFS steel structure team has set up 5 promotional racks on the top of the “sphere”, and uses 5 tractors equipped with PLC system software to improve to ensure the balance of enhancement; Vertical displacement monitoring point, manually carry out vertical displacement repeat testing. The real -time data of the review is compared with the real -time data extraction of the background software to ensure that the error control of the five improvement points is controlled within 20 mm during the improvement process. At the same time, set 6 pressure sensors to improve the steel twisted wire to monitor the uniform carrying capacity of the steel twisting line. 10 strain composers are set up to monitor the structure and the stress changes of the rod.
During this improvement operation, the project scene continued to encounter strong winds and rainfall weather, which brought some challenges to improving operations. The project team always takes construction safety and improvement of quality as the top priority. Slow down to increase the speed, monitor the aerial gesture of hydraulic improvement equipment, steel twisted lines, and the dome, and effectively deal with hidden dangers caused by wind and rain in a timely manner to ensure the safety of the entire process of improvement and the requirements of various technical indicators.
The successful improvement of the dome marks that the construction of the main steel structure of the hotel is basically completed, and it will fully enter the glass curtain wall construction stage.
