High-altitude assembly method: The steel space frame is installed with high-altitude assembly method, which is to first set up the assembly bracket at the design position, and then use the crane to lift the space frame component (or block) to the design position in the air, and assemble on the bracket. This method sometimes does not require large lifting equipment, but the amount of assembled support is large, and the altitude operation is more. Therefore, it is more suitable for high-strength bolt-connected steel space frames made of shaped steel or steel pipe space frames with bolt ball joints, and there are still some steel space frames constructed with this method.
Overall installation method: The overall installation method is to first assemble the space frame into a whole on the ground, and then use the lifting equipment to lift the whole to the design position to be fixed. This construction method does not require a tall assembly bracket, less high-altitude work, easy to ensure the quality of welding, but the need for heavy lifting equipment, the technology is more complex. Therefore, this method is more suitable for steel space frames with spherical joints (especially those with more bars such as three-way space frames). According to the different equipment used, the overall installation method is divided into multi-machine lifting method, rod lifting method, jack lifting method and jack lifting method.
Multi-machine lifting method: This method is used for medium and small space frame structures with small height and weight. Before installation, the mesh frame is assembled on the ground (that is, the assembly position is staggered a certain distance from the installation axis to avoid the position of the column). Then a number of cranes (mostly crawler cranes or truck cranes) are used to raise the assembled space frame as a whole above the top of the column, and fall into place after being shifted in the air.
space frame assembly: In order to prevent the overall lifting of the space frame and the column collision, the staggered distance depends on the net distance between the space frame and the column or the column leg during the lifting process, generally not less than 10 ~ l125px, and consider the convenience of the space frame assembly and the convenience of crane work when the air is shifted. If necessary, we can consult with the design unit to leave some edge rods of the space frame frame for welding after the space frame is raised, or change some pillars that affect the space frame.
