Understand the qualification levels of the steel structure engineering contracting scope

There are other qualification levels like space frame, truss and glass roofing works.The qualification grade standard for steel structure engineering professional contracting enterprises is one of the contents of the “Qualification Standards for Construction Enterprises” issued by the Ministry of Construction.It is divided into first-level, second-level and third-level qualification standards. as follows:

The first-class qualification can undertake the construction of the following steel structure projects:

1. The height of the steel structure is more than 60 meters;
2. The single-span span of the steel structure is more than 30 meters;
3.  The span of the short side of the reticulated shell and the grid structure is more than 50 meters;
4. The total weight of the steel structure of a single steel structure project is more than 4,000 tons;
5. The single building area is more than 30,000 square meters.

The second-level qualification can undertake the construction of the following steel structure projects:

1. The height of the steel structure is less than 100 meters;
2. The single-span span of the steel structure is less than 36 meters;
3. The span of the short side of the reticulated shell and the grid structure is less than 75 meters;
4. The total weight of the steel structure of a single steel structure project is less than 6,000 tons;
5. The single building area is less than 35,000 square meters.

The third-level qualification can undertake the construction of the following steel structure projects:

1. The height of the steel structure is less than 60 meters;
2. The single-span span of the steel structure is less than 30 meters;
3. The span of the short side of the reticulated shell and the grid structure is less than 33 meters;
4. The total weight of the steel structure of a single steel structure project is less than 3000 tons;
5. The single building area is less than 15,000 square meters.

Note: Steel structure engineering refers to the construction engineering in which the main load-bearing beams and columns of buildings or structures are made of steel and installed on site.
